For sale is a well-preserved WYLER Pump Wind Automatic Watch, powered by "pump-action". This early 1930's watch was one of the first attempts at an automatic winding watch.
"Pump-Action", an innovation by WYLER, comprises of a lift & pin mechanism, which is activated when the watch is worn. A secondary case cover or flap pushes against a pin on the back, thereby winding/powering the movement!
The case is numbered "77", making this one of the earliest Wylers in the world - Definitely a sought-after true vintage timepiece!
EXTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *VERY GOOD condition (83-87%): The watch shows what might be considered normal wear by a careful owner who wore the watch regularly. Scratches are evident, but no nicks or dings. May have replacement parts. A sound, attractive presentation overall.
INTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *VERY GOOD condition (83-87%): Running & keeping good time, though may need minor regulation.
