The iconic & striking design of The MOVADO Museum Watch is distinguished by a solitary gold dot at 12 o'clock, representing the sun at high noon.
MOVADO is best known for producing The Museum Watch, conceptualized by Nathan George Horwitt, an industrial designer. It was added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in 1960, at which point, it assumed its name. The MOVADO Museum Watch was the first watch to be given such recognition.
This particular variant of The Museum Watch is exceedingly rare because it is a joint production of limited number by MOVADO & ZENITH, both watchmaking giants!
