This is an authentic MIDO Ocean Star Powerwind Black Dial Watch with original parts!
This watch is gold-electroplated stainless steel with gold-toned hands to match. It has the MIDO Ocean Star logo on the top dial. Powerwind can also be seen on the bottom dial.
It has a matte black dial & its glass crystal hasn't acquired any scratches.
All its original markers are intact - its bar markers are mounted on the dial while its dot markers are on its inner bezel.
The watch keeps its original MIDO crown which functions well & isn't loose.
The watch has a gold-electroplated stainless steel bracelet.
It has a gold-electroplated unmarked clasp.
The case back has the serial number of the watch embossed on it.
A picture of the movement is not shown - to expose the movement, we have to detach the bezel from the case (it has a glass through & not a case back opening). If we do this, the dial might get scratched & the crystal broken. This is because the watch has never been opened & the watch retains much of its air-tight closure.
Our technician has estimated that this watch runs on 21 jewels but it has a guaranteed MIDO automatic movement which never needs any batteries. It is in good condition & it runs great!
