For sale, is a vintage example of the iconic HERMES Kelly Lock Watch. In 1975, the HERMES Kelly Lock Watch was designed after the famous HERMES Kelly Handbag. Since then, the watch has gained as much popularity as its parent & just like the Kelly Bag, the demand for the eye-catching Kelly Watch has not wavered since!

EXTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *EXCELLENT condition (88-92%): Evidence of use is visible to the unaided eye. Scratches are light, but more numerous than "near mint".
INTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *NEAR MINT condition (93-97%): working perfectly, keeping good time & needs nothing.

The surface of the panel is partially textured to mimic beaten gold. At first, I thought that this texture was acquired by age because another Kelly Watch we sold in the past did not have this attribute. But, upon close inspection, I found that it was intentionally designed, seeing as the edges of the texture wrap neatly around the screws.

The leather is an original manufactured part. It is as old as the watch itself & has never been replaced. It shows wear but still functional. Remember, genuine leather is durable material! As this watch is still in production finding a replacement leather band will not be an issue in future.
