The photos presented below are of the actual item for sale. Kindly study them carefully because what you see is what you will get. We try our best to describe watches as accurately as we can that's why we present them visually & literally. In case we missed a few points, you are welcome to ask questions.

This timepiece may have been a collaborative product of HAMILTON Watch Co & FLORA Watch Co., or it could also be an assembled piece with parts put together by a clever watchmaker.
However, its HAMILTON 2987 movement is special. It was only produced during World War II for military watches of the Navy & Marine Corps pilots. It is a relatively rare movement & has value by itself.
This NAWCC (National Association of Watch & Clock) forum thread mentions a link between HAMILTON & FLORA: http://mb.nawcc.org/archive/index.php/t-19445.html
Compared to HAMILTON, few are familiar with FLORA Watch Co. But it is interesting to note that it is one of the oldest watchmakers in Switzerland. Today, it continues to manufacture timepieces. More info about the company can be found at their official website: http://florawatch.ch/

This HAMILTON - FLORA featues a midsize case, railtrack grid & cut steel Arabic hours. It is a clean, compact & minimalist piece.
