This 1970's ZODIAC Sea Wolf SST 36000 is very hard to find, especially in this condition! It has retained all parts from its original manufactured state except its clasp & is in excellent condition.
The coffin-shaped case has a fine brushed metal finish; it has a rotating internal bezel, twin bullhead crowns & clear resin indexes. The bright orange accent color on the bezel & indexes complements the black dial nicely. Finally, it features a push-button crown - pushing in the crown advances the date!
The ZODIAC Sea Wolf SST 36000 combines the ZODIAC Sea Wolf & ZODIAC SST 36000, which have both been well-received by collectors. The first was specifically designed for the deep sea diver, while the latter was for the rugged adventurer (trekkers, climbers & the like).
The Sea Wolf SST 36000 appealed to the "highly-physical" who engage in extreme sports on any terrain! It was designed for the everyday run-of-the-mill superman!
EXTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *EXCELLENT condition (88-92%): Evidence of use is visible to the unaided eye. Scratches are light, but more numerous than "near mint".

The movement is high beat SST 36000, which ZODIAC originally advertised as "guaranteed not to gain or lose more than a minute per month". Of course, since this watch is roughly 40 years old, the statement may no longer apply.
