This ZODIAC Astrographic SST has a very rare wood grain or tiger's eye dial. The corners of the case are filled in with gold enamel, which complete the eye-catching design.

ZODIAC's design innovation of the floating red dot (represents seconds) & floating hands (represents hours & minutes) in this ZODIAC Astrographic won the 1972 "Montres et Bijoux" exhibition.

EXTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *VERY GOOD condition (83-87%): The watch shows what might be considered normal wear by a careful owner who wore the watch regularly. Scratches are evident, but no nicks or dings. May have replacement parts. A sound, attractive presentation overall.

INTERNAL CONDITION: This watch is in *NEAR MINT condition (93-97%): working perfectly, keeping good time & needs nothing.

Line & letter details are crisp & clear - may be seen by tilting the watch against the light at a very specific angle; can't seem to capture them with my camera. The gold lettering just blends in too well with the browns of the dial!
