In the photo above (click to enlarge), Olympic medalist swimmer Michael Phelps is seen wearing his custom-made Omega Speedmaster Broadarrow while smoking marijuana.

Phelps’ custom Omega surprisingly has a Mother-of-Pearl dial and a diamond bezel. I say “surprisingly” because Omega doesn’t usually go for “clash” combination in design material.

Now, I understand that in some parts of the globe, the use of cannabis is legally/morally/socially accepted. But in the U.S. it’s not and that poses a problem.

Kellogg’s took him off their cereal boxes, perhaps Omega would soon take him off their ad campaigns? Who knows?
