RADO Diastar Elegance Watch
This watch was sold on September 13, 2006 (Destination: Glasgow, Strathclyde, Great Brittain).
These are actual pictures of the item on auction - I took them myself! What you see is what you get! You may rely entirely on the pictures for accuracy on the appearance of this item.
This is an authentic RADO Diastar Elegance Wind-up CERAMIC Case & Bracelet Crimson Dial Watch with all original parts.
This watch is stainless steel with silver hands & fluted silver markers to match. It has the RADO painted-on name & symbol logo on the dial, which means that this may be one of the first RADO Diastar Models ever released.
The dial is a beauty. It has a textured gradient black-to-crimson dial. Its glass crystal hasn't acquired any scratches.
The full front case is light gunmetal blue CERAMIC - which will never attain any faded patches, & will retain its color for more than a lifetime.
The watch keeps its original RADO crown which functions well & isn't loose.
The watch keeps its original RADO CERAMIC-studded bracelet. Three of the ceramic studs were lost so we've replaced them with sapphire black-tinted glass.
The clasp has the RADO symbol & name logo on it.
There are no scratches on the case back. However, its RADO crest logo is missing & we couldn't find a replacement. This piece is very rare & genuinely vintage to begin with so it's impossible to look for an exact same-size crest.
This watch runs on 17 jewels RADO winding/wind-up movement that has a 24-hour duration & never needs any batteries. It is in perfect condition, runs great & keeps perfect time!
